Passing of Retired Montgomery County Police Corporal David William McBain, Sr.

Silver Spring Volunteer Fire Department is saddened to announce the passing of Retired Montgomery County Police Corporal David William McBain, Sr., father of Lieutenant David McBain Jr., (TOD) and Lt. Colonel Christina (Chris) Calantonio Assistant Sheriff (Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office). Retired Corporal McBain passed away yesterday evening at the age of 83 surrounded by his family. Corporal Mcbain served MCP Proudly for 28 years. Prior to his MCP Service Corporal McBain was a Montgomery County Firefighter assigned to Station 1 in Silver Spring where he is a life member. After his retirement from MCP, Corporal McBain worked for the Circuit Court of Montgomery County where he was the Grand Jury Bailiff. Corporal McBain is survived by his wife Ann (Retired Montgomery County Court Employee) , Daughters, Christina, Susan, Julie and Son David Jr and 8 grandchildren.

Viewing: Monday Oct. 17th 3-5 and 7-9 at Robert A. Pumphrey Funeral Home Rockville 300 W Montgomery Ave, Rockville, MD 20850Rockville.

Funeral Services: Tuesday October 18 at 1200. First Baptist Church 55 Adclare Road. Rockville, Md.

Internment: Forest Oak Cemetery on N. Frederick Ave. Gaithersburg, MD. (Between Maryland Ave. and Dalamar Street. Gaithersburg)
